James Luxmoore - Vice President, Strategic Initiatives
With over 30 years of experience in the forestry industry, James Luxmoore has built a distinguished career across various operational and commercial roles. He is recognized for his depth of expertise in both private and public tenures and for his significant contributions to developing and managing First Nations partnerships. Since joining Mosaic's predecessor companies in 1993, James has led numerous critical initiatives in engineering, operations, and log purchasing. His most recent role as Strategic Advisor for Indigenous Initiatives underscores his commitment to fostering collaborative relationships and driving sensitive projects that require historical insight, a constructive approach, and strong negotiation skills.
James holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the University of British Columbia and a Forest Technologist Diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. He is also a Registered Professional Forester (RPF).
