Mosaic Forest Management Releases 2021 Sustainability Progress Report

Nanaimo, BC — Mosaic Forest Management today released its annual sustainability progress report, documenting achievements against key sustainability criteria in the 2021 business year, a year marked by the ever-changing impacts of the global pandemic and challenges facing the Coastal BC forest sector.

The report provides an overview of progress on sustainability activities and accomplishments across the company, including safety, people, the environment, Indigenous partnerships, and community - each playing a pivotal role in sustainable operations.

"Sustainability is at the core of what we do. It permeates every aspect of our business, starting with keeping people safe and ensuring the working forest is managed for today and for future generations," said Mosaic President and CEO Jeff Zweig. "We are proud of our partnerships with First Nations, communities, and honoured to be recognized as one of BC's Top Employers, made possible by the dedication of our talented employees and contractor workforce."

  • Recognized as one of BC's Top Employers

  • Planted 7.9 million seedlings
