Mosaic Forest Management's annual Season of Giving campaign is a chance to give back to charitable organizations in the communities in which we live, work and play. This year Mosaic is proud to announce it will donate $37,000 to community and food programs.

"The global COVID-19 pandemic has put added pressure on families who struggle to access healthy and affordable food," said Mosaic President and CEO Jeff Zweig. "Our annual Season of Giving campaign provides support to organizations that are doing the important work of reaching those who rely on local food organizations to help feed their families."

Launched in 2020, Mosaic's Season of Giving program aims to support local organizations helping to provide access to nutritious food for those in need. More than 20 organizations will receive support this year, including:

·       Cowichan Valley Basket Society

·       Lake Cowichan 50+ Activity Centre

·       Cowichan Valley School District 79 through Nourish Cowichan Society

·       Lake Cowichan School – School Lunch Program

·       Palsson School – School Lunch Program

·       Sooke Meals on Wheels

·       Sooke and Port Renfrew Food Banks through Sooke Food Bank Society

·       School District 72 - School Lunch Program

Alberni District Secondary School’s Breakfast Club is just one of the local organizations receiving support from Mosaic this holiday season. They are a 100% volunteer-run program offering students 'grab and go food stations' at Alberni District Secondary School and the Learning Centre. “Donations, like the one made by Mosaic, go towards purchasing food items for over 400 students, five days a week," says Melody Burton, ADSS Breakfast Club Coordinator.
