Nominations Now Open for Mosaic Citizen of the Year

Today is the United Nations’ International Day of Charity. The day was established in memory of Mother Teresa to educate and mobilize people around the world to help others through acts of charity.

Mosaic and its predecessor companies have a long history of contributing back. We have a role to play in supporting those who are in need, and promoting vibrant, healthy communities where we work, live and play. Last year we donated over $250,000 to numerous charities and other causes.

Along with the various charitable programs supported by Mosaic as a company, many people within our organization contribute significant personal time and energy to charitable causes in our adjacent communities. To recognize and celebrate these contributions, we are establishing the Mosaic Citizen of the Year Award - a newly-created annual program that recognizes a Mosaic employee who has made a meaningful contribution to the well-being of their community.

Nominations for this new award will be open through the month of September, and the winner will direct a $2,500 donation to the charity of their choice. More information, including how to nominate someone for this award, is available on our Communities webpage.

Thank you to all our employees and community partners who are making a positive difference through acts of charity.
