Mosaic Renews Partnership with Victoria Fish and Game Protective Association

Nanaimo, BC — Mosaic Forest Management announced today that it has renewed its access agreement with the Victoria Fish and Game Protective Association, extending the partnership that began in 2016 between the two organizations. The agreement offers hunting and fishing opportunities to Club members on Mosaic private forest lands.

“We’ve developed a very good working relationship with the Victoria Fish and Game Protective Association over the years,” said Mosaic President and CEO Jeff Zweig. “Our renewed agreement gives Club members continued recreational access to Mosaic forest lands. We are pleased to extend access to this responsible group who shares our perspective on the social, economic and environmental values associated with our working forest.”

The access agreement between Mosaic and the Victoria Fish and Game Protective Association allows licensed and insured members of the Club, and of the BC Wildlife Federation, access to Mosaic’s private forest lands for hunting and fishing on south Vancouver Island on weekends in designated locations.

“We value our partnership with Mosaic, which provides an excellent opportunity for Club members to recreate on Southern Vancouver Island”, said Jim Sprang, Access Chair of the Victoria Fish and Game Protective Association. “Accessing the great outdoors in a responsible way that conserves fish and wildlife as well as their habitat is part of the Club’s conservation mission. This renewed access agreement with Mosaic is an important part of being able to fulfill that mission.”
