  • Supports and administers sustainable forestry planning and operations activities.

  • Develops harvesting plans and directs sustainable harvesting operations projects and activities.

  • Operates a yarding machine to pull logs from the cutting area to the landing and they control the direction, speed and braking of cable drums to position chokers or grapples over logs. 

  • Uses heavy machinery on a variety of construction projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial building and infrastructure projects like roadways and utilities.

  • Services and repairs logging equipment and logging trucks.

  • Mechanically merchandises tree stems at roadside to Mosaic log quality specifications, optimizing value and utilization, and monitors and calibrates processing head to ensure consistent accuracy.

  • Works at a Dryland Sort facility measuring and grading logs for volume and grade, ensuring Mosaic quality specifications and optimizing value and utilization.

  • Directs workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads, ensuring the safety of workers and materials.

  • Drives a log truck, hauling logs on and off-highways.
